2. Stick to a oil-free diet.

If you want to prevent problems caused due to oily skin, try to limit the consumption of oily food items. Less oily food you will consume, less will be the oil formed over your skin.

3. Natural Remedies.

Try out some of your grandmother’s tips on your skin. One of the best natural remedy for not only oily skin but all skin types is of honey. It has antibacterial and antiseptic abilities in it.

Apply a thin layer of honey on your face and rinse thoroughly after 10 minutes. This will help remove excess grease from oily skin and alongwith it also prevent acne.

Some other natural remedies that may help include tomatoes, cucumber, oatmeal etc.

4. Choose your cosmetics carefully.

Select your cosmetics carefully. If you have an oily skin type, go for either oil- free or oil- less cosmetics. Don’t apply moisturizers with excessive oil in them .

5. Do exercise.

Like everything else, regular exercising helps in preventing skin problems as well. So opt few minutes of some physical exercise in the morning daily.
