The monsoon season is here. And, this season along with beautiful weather and environment, also brings germs and infections. The biggest threat in this season is of catching the cough and cold infection. So, here we have a list of some home remedies to fight against the infection making you healthy so that you can enjoy this monsoon carelessly.

Ginger, clove and cardamom.

Ginger, clove and cardamom all three are well known to fasten up the recovery process of cough and cold. It also gives quick relief to running nose, sore throat and headaches which are common in this season. Except this, even if you are not suffering from cough and cold already, these ingredients will help you from staying away and safe from the infection.
You can consume these ingredients in many ways. Boil three of them in water for a few minutes. Filter out the water using a sieve. Drink this water when its warm enough to drink.
Another way is to add these ingredients your tea and drink that tea. This will make your tea tastier and help you with infection at the same time.

Warm water.

If you are suffering from cough and cold, drink luke warm water as frequently as possible. This will give relief to your sore throat and help in faster recovery.

Turmeric milk.

Both turmeric and milk are well known for their properties of fighting against harmful germs of the body. And what would be better than having these two magic ingredients together. Add a little bit of turmeric to your milk and boil it. Add sugar if needed and consume this milk. This will give instant relief to your cold.

Honey and ginger solution.

Take a spoon full of honey and add a few drops of ginger juice to it. Consume this mixture at least twice a day. This will help your immune system fight against cough and cold quickly.

Take in some steam.

Boil some water in a utensil. Hold your head over that utensil and breathe in through the steam. This will help you out if your nostrils are clogged.
