JEE Main 2019


The notification for JEE (Joint Entrance Exam) main available know. Here onwards NTA-National Test Agency takes charges to conduct JEE exam. CBSE-Central board of Secondary Examination conducted previous JEE examinations. Students aspiring to undergo graduate courses from NIITs, IITs and CFTIs (Central Funded Technical Institution) required to clear JEE main.

NTA will be conducting the JEE main exam twice a year i.e., January and April. However, the first JEE exam conducted from 6th January 2019 to 20th January 2019. While the second JEE exam conducted from 6th April to 20th April 2019. If any candidate wishes to attempt the examination twice, then the highest score in two exams considered as the eligible score.

All the aspiring candidates can download the notification from www.nta.ac.in or else can click on link https://www.nta.ac.in/Download/NTA-JEE.pdf. The online application starts from 1st Septemeber 2019.

Minimum Criteria for admission

  • The candidates wishing to choose B.E/B.Tech must have cleared JEE exam. Other criteria, students must have secured 75% in 10+2 examination. Also, students must have physics and mathematics mandatory subjects. Additionally, a technical vocational subject compulsory.
  • The candidates wishing to choose BARCH/BPlanning must have cleared JEE exam. Also, they must have 75% in 10+2 along with mathematics as a mandatory subject.
  • A relaxation of 10% given for SC/ST candidates. i.e, candidates must secure 65%

Test details of JEE Main

B.E/BTech (Paper 1) of JEE undergoes CBT-computer based test only in two shifts. The first shift heads from 9:30 am to 12:30 pm while the second shift heads from 2:30 pm to 5:30 pm. While B.ARCH/BPlanning (Paper 2) undergoes both CBT as well as pen & paper based test. The Paper 1 exam takes place in two shifts while the paper 2 exam takes place on one shift only. Application Form

The application form is to be filled by candidates online only. The online application form and registration starts from September 1st 2018 and lasts until September 30th 2018 while the payment of fees begins from September 1st, 2018 and end on October 1st 2018. The online scanned images can be uploaded in between 1st September 2018 to 30 September 2018.
