HSSC Group D recruitment


The government of Haryana has invited the applications from the aspiring candidates to fill up 18218 vacant posts under Haryana Staff Selection Commission. First of all, the candidates must register on the official website  www.hssc.gov.in for applying to the Group D recruitment. As per the notification details, the recruitment is going to happen for 74 different posts.

26th August 2018 – Release of notification

29th August 2018 – Start date for online application

18th September 2018 – End date for online application (can apply only till 11:59 am)

Online Application Form

Before applying, read the detailed notification. Candidates are required to do a one-time-registry at http://adv42018.hryssc.in/StaticPages/HomePage.aspx. After the registration process, the candidate now has login and password details. Now, the candidate can apply using login credentials.

During, filling the form the candidate must enter the name, Date of Birth, Qualification, Marks, Father’s name, passing year, photo etc. Make sure that all the details entered correctly. A registration number and password get generated after applying online. Note down the registration number and password. Take a print out of screenshot of registration number and password, filled in application form and also the e-challan form for future use.  If any candidate found guilty after applying online, the application automatically rejected. Above all, changes in the application form after final submission will not entertain. Hence, the candidate must cross check the filled application form before submitting.

Necessary documents while applying

  • A scanned copy of matriculation certificate
  • In case of SC/BCA/BCB, a scanned copy of domicile certificate.
  • In case of a sports person, a scanned copy of the gradation certificate
  • also, a scanned copy of weightage claiming certificate under experience & socio-economic.
  • Finally, a scanned copy of photo signed by the candidate and also, the signature of the candidate.

Education details & pay scale

Candidates must have passed matriculation from the recognized university and either Hindi or Sanskrit must include up to matriculation.

The pay scale for this posts varies from 16,900 to 53,500. Additionally, special pay is applicable. The level of the pay scale is DL.

Age limit and application fees

The minimum age for applying – 18 years while the maximum age for applying- 42 years. However, SC, BC-A, BC-B candidate has relaxation based on the instructions of Haryana government. Similarly, the upper age limit for PHC candidates general – 10 years and for PHC SC & BC – 15 years. Likewise, the upper age limit for a separated woman, divorced, widow – 47 years.

There is no application fee for Person with disabilities. While the application fee for other categories mentioned below

General  – Rs. 100 (male/female) & Rs. 50 (female Haryana resident)

SC/BC (Haryana state) – Rs. 50 (Male) & Rs. 25 ( female).

Exam Pattern and Syllabus

The selection procedure includes a total of 100 marks. Where 90marks allocated for written examination and another 10 marks allocated for socio-economic & experience. The syllabus for written exam comprises of General Awareness, reasoning, Science, Maths, Hindi, English (together paper weightage -75%) and History, current affairs, Geography, literature, civics, culture and environment of Haryana (together paper weightage– 25%).

Another important point to remember – scrutiny of applications undergoes, if any candidate fails to upload the required document then the candidate application may be cancelled. The cancellation happens due to the lack of necessary documents.
